The Fairie Queen is hosting a Royal Legacy Ball for the Littles and then a Rave at 7:00 PM for the older kids!
All Magical kids and families from the Kingdoms of Potter, Middle Earth, Narnia, Oz, Arendelle, Avalon, Atlantis, Avonlea, and other Galaxies are welcome!
Don your fantasy, costume, dress up, or formal attire and come prepared for magic! The historic Ravington ballroom will be transformed into an enchanted spring forest full of wonder and wizardry! Live music! Entertainment! Mermaids! Princesses and Pirates! Oh my!
The event will be full of suprises and entertainment! Each ticket provides entertainment, lemonade, tea, water, and sugary snacks such as cookies and cotton candy. There might be a "speakeasy" upstairs for the grown ups. TBD.
The first 2 sessions in the afternoon are ages 4+ and will be very Potter and Disney-esque. The 7:00 PM time is geared towards ages 10+ and will be a RAVE but family oriented! It's the perfect time to bring your older kids or teens and have a blast!
HELPFUL INFORMATION
Q. Who had to buy a ticket to attend? Are adults or parents free?
A. EVERY person coming in in the door must have a ticket. Please show proof of ticket purchase at the check in table.
Q. Is this like the Bentonville "Daddy/Daughter Dance"?
A. Kind of, but this one is more varied in that it's co-ed. It can be a mother/son date, an aunt and niece, a whole family, a blended or step familiy, gay parents, religious families, etc. This is about connection with your loved ones, so you create the lineup that works for you. We can't wait to see grandparents with their grandkids dancing together! We will be hosting all families with kindness and respect and we ask that all attending do the same!
Q. There are different time slots and the 7:00 PM one confuses me--what is that?
A. For the parents who used to party and miss it, this is your chance to bring your kids to a clean and family friendly club. Yoga Story is sponsoring our Family Rave at 7:00 PM and there will be blacklights, a light up LED dancefloor, glowsticks, a killer DJ, and more! All ages are welcome, but know that this is not the right environement for anyone with sensory issues.
Q. Do I have to dress up?
A. You don't "have" to, but it will make the experience all the more magical for you and your loved ones! There will be prizes given out for best family costume, most original attire, etc.
Q. Is there a dress code of what is NOT allowed?
A. No gore. No blood. No sexy. No BDSM. No horror. No political issues/affiliations. There will be security guards at the door, and if attire is any of the above or deemed inapropriate, you will be turned away at the door with no refunds. If you have a question about this, email [email protected] with a photo/description of what you are planning. Save yourself the embarrassment of being refused entry. We hate that this has to be brought up, but things are crazy these days. This is a magical event for children, not a haunted house or a place to make a political statement.
Q. Is the building handicap accessible?
A. Yes! The entire ground floor of The Ravington is ADA compliant
Q. Where do I park?
A. Park across the street in the lot around the park. There will be uniformed policemen escorting you across the street for safety.
Q. Will the food options also include vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options?
A. No. There will only be sugary snacky options for the kids, so if you have dietary restrictions, you'll want to bring something for yourselves.
Q. What about refund or cancelations?
A. If you cancel at least 7 days prior, you will get a refund. If the event gets canceled due to the wild world that we live in, you would receive a full refund.
Q. Will there be live music?
A. Yes! Oh yes! And in the most creative ways!
Q. Will there be flashing lights/loud music?
A. No strobe lights. The music might get a bit loud, so bring earplugs for any sensory issues.
Q. This looks awesome, but I live hours away! Why should I come to Bentonville, Arkansas?
A. NW Arkansas has so much to offer! The greatest mountain biking trails in the USA, the beautiful Ozarks, the world class Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, The Momentary, and some of the best breweries in the country! Q. Ok, I'm going to travel for this! What airport do you recommend?
A. XNA (Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport) has many direct flights that come in from most major cities and hubs!
Q. I'm traveling in from out of town, what hotels do you recommend?
A. We LOVE the Doubletree Hilton in Bentonville as they provide a free shuttle back and forth from The Ravington and the airport! There are also fabulous Airbnb's all over our area!
Q. How big is this event going to be?
A. We are selling 300 tickets per time slot. When tickets are sold out, the sales will close down. We have people traveling in from other states for this!
